Commonly Asked Questions

Q: What services do you offer?

A: Our focus has always been on creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes.  Our primary business is installing landscaping, including shrubs, evergreens, trees and accompanying hardscapes.  We also provide deep root fertilization, trimming and pesticide spraying services to keep your plants looking beautiful.  Our trimming services cover evergreens, shrubs and ornamental trees.

Q: What services do you not offer?

A: We do not offer any lawn, irrigation, or large shade tree trimming/removal services.

Q: What is your service area?

A: We service St. Charles County, North, Mid, and West St. Louis County and portions of Lincoln and Warren Counties.

Q: What is the best time of year for planting a new landscape?

A: Any time is good as long as the ground is not frozen.  Summer installations will need to be watered more frequently.  People usually think spring is the best time for planting, but most don't realize that fall can be an even better time, especially for planting trees and large evergreens.

Q: When should plants be trimmed?

A: It depends on the plant and when or if it blooms.  Evergreens should typically be sheared in summer or winter.  Non-evergreens should be cut back in winter except spring bloomers which should be trimmed after blooming.
